Education and Mentoring

Promote the development of academic and leadership skills among Native American youth
Promote post-secondary education among Native American graduating high school students through the use of scholarships and awards
Promote the development of leadership and entrepreneurial skills for emerging Native American business owners, including but not limited to mentoring opportunities
Develop working partnerships with cities and school districts responsible for continuing the education of Native American Culture and Development

Finance

Chair:  Chuck Redfearn/Beth Thompson

Oversee cash flow of the Chamber
Monitor assets and liabilities of the Chamber

Marketing and Outreach

Co-Chairs:   Molly Brown/James Box

Promote the AICCT and its member accomplishments to the general community, potential members and sponsors, and to other AICCT members

 

 

Economic Development

Co-Chairs:  Bert Wells/Sam Matalone

Promote contracting opportunities with Corporations with Minority Procurement Programs
Represent the Chamber to cities and other organizations to ensure economic development opportunities for Chamber members as well as the Native American community

Strategic Planning

Co-Chairs:  Gene Bloomfield/John MacLean

To create a focused environment where the mission statement and goals (both short- term and long-term) of the Chamber are clearly understood by the Board and membership
Identify and cultivate future Chamber and community leadership

Program

Co-Chairs:  Randy Johnson/Steve Cardwell

Review existing chamber programs for possible improvements or modifications that may be needed
Identify and develop programs which serve to meet the needs of the chamber membership

Legislative

Co-Chairs:  Keith Roberts, Dean Bridges

Keep chamber membership informed of legislative issues affecting Native American owned businesses and what action they can take to reach satisfactory resolution of issues
