2nd Annual
American Indian Education & Opportunity Fund Golf Tournament
June 3, 2008
Sowing the seeds for tomorrow’s American Indian business leaders and entrepreneurs
The American Indian Education & Opportunity Fund had been dormant for several years until the AICCT decided to revive the scholarship program
with an annual golf tournament last year.
Through the generous support of last year’s sponsors the golf tournament was a resounding success and the scholarship program was revived and placed
back on the trail of developing our future American Indian business leaders and entrepreneurs.
The goal of our fundraising is to continue to provide scholarships and build toward an endowment to prevent the program from becoming dormant again.
The scholarships are awarded for traditional college degree programs, technical schools and specialized training that will directly benefit a
member of the American Indian community in business.
Christine Schuler – A citizen of the Mic Mac Nation, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hill College and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa society.
She received her Associate’s degree in liberal arts in May 2007 and is now pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Radio-TV-Film at Texas Christian University.
Landon Sewell – A citizen of the Muscogee Nation, he graduated from Flower Mound Marcus High School in May 2007.
He is attending Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma pursing a Bachelor’s degree in business.
